Conversely, long-term pain can itself lead to depressive moods. Those affected are often unaware of the connections.  <\/p><p>The situation is different with bruxism: those affected sometimes grind or clench their teeth with enormous intensity, but often do not feel any pain. The causes also include emotional stress. <\/p><p>In order to recognize such correlations at an early stage, we routinely supplement our dental functional diagnostics with special tests to detect such interactions. The corresponding tests have been scientifically substantiated and examined in many studies.
