For PD Dr. Ahlers, this success is an indication that the joint work in research and clinical practice is being recognized and continued. It is interesting to note that citations are primarily made where scientific content can be directly translated into clinical decisions. Over the years, this has become a focus of his work – the development of techniques for transferring complex functional relationships into everyday practice. In functional diagnostics, this can be done digitally using appropriate software such as CMDfact, which specifically complements the practice management software. In fact, the Hamburg working group was able to prove that diagnoses made with the CMDfact software developed here in cooperation with Prof. Jakstat, University of Leipzig, are better than conventional procedures with the diagnoses alone “in mind”.
