Specialized dental technology in-house: our practice laboratory

Dr. Ahlers and his team developed many of today’s standard dental functional diagnostics – for example, the Eppendorf registration plates, which measure the position of your jaw joints without the influence of tooth position. Who better to produce them than our in-house dental laboratory? There are now three specialized dental technicians working here who have developed special knowledge and skills in this field. We don’t know of anyone who makes the registration templates thinner and more precisely than they do.

We also produce our patients’ jaw models in-house using high-quality special plaster from leading manufacturers in Japan and high-precision, world-leading instruments from Germany (Hamburg!) and Austria. This enables us to guarantee that your model corresponds exactly to your teeth and that the jaw models are mounted in a chewing simulator in a way that corresponds to your bite position.

The specialty of our in-house practice laboratory is occlusal splints of all kinds. We not only manufacture these, but can also adapt them at short notice if your bite position changes or is damaged. In the meantime, you can enjoy a cappuccino in our in-house café.
