Our special measuring instruments

The diagnosis of craniomandibular dysfunctions (CMD) requires our in-depth knowledge – and special measuring instruments. Because that’s what counts, we have plenty of them. Each treatment room is equipped with a condylar position measuring instrument and a computerized electronic measuring instrument for recording the movement of the lower jaw. These instruments come from leading international manufacturers and were partly developed in collaboration with PD Dr. M. Oliver Ahlers and Prof. Dr. Holger A. Jakstat (University of Leipzig) as part of research projects.

And if we have to grind (prepare) teeth, we use state-of-the-art grinding instruments. The development of a large number of the grinding instruments we use also goes back to PD Dr. Ahlers. Our instruments therefore meet the very latest standards.

We use them with care and train other dentists in their use in training courses organized by the Dental Association. We will therefore be happy to provide you with additional information when you visit our offices.
