Tim Petersen

Tim Petersen has been working at the CMD Center Hamburg-Eppendorf since 2013. He didn’t have to travel far to get here – he came to us directly from the neighboring University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf. Incidentally, he completed his degree in dentistry with the grade “very good” (1.0). As functional diagnostics is intellectually challenging, it’s no wonder that he chose this area of dentistry. Very good remains very good.

In the years he has worked at the CMD-Centrum Hamburg-Eppendorf, Mr. Petersen has successfully treated a large number of patients – including those with very significant craniomandibular dysfunctions, severe bruxism and considerable tooth wear. This makes him one of the most experienced specialists in dental functional diagnostics and therapy in Germany.

Previously, Mr. Petersen worked in laboratory medicine at the Hamburg Tropical Institute. In addition to his clinical work, he also teaches advanced dental training in the functional diagnostics and therapy curriculum of the Hamburg Dental Association.

In scientific lectures, he presented techniques for measuring the position of the jaw in patients with craniomandibular dysfunctions by combining condylar position analysis with special forms of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at the congress of the relevant scientific society, the German Society for Functional Diagnostics and Therapy (DGFDT).
